Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and versatile Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Digital & Technology team. This is a multi-disciplinary role that combines strong business analysis and project management, with data analytics and artificial intelligence.

At the heart of this role is the ability to understand complex business problems. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will identify, frame, and prioritise operational challenges — and then determine the most appropriate solution and deliver it. • Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and feasibility assessment to inform solution design and produce business requirements documents, user stories, data mapping and acceptance criteria
  • Work with development team and stakeholders in system configuration, data conversion, testing, and deployment activities & review documents to verify that specifications are met
  • Act as the bridge between business and technology teams throughout the solution lifecycle

 Project Management

  • Plan, manage, and deliver digital and technology projects end-to-end, from initiation through to deployment, adoption, and benefits realization
  • Manage project scope/plan, budget, timelines, and resources, status reporting and escalating risks and issues proactively
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including internal IT, third-party vendors, and business SMEs
  • Collaborate and manage vendors/ agencies, facilitate internal legal and regulatory reviews
  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics and BI tools, building confidence and data literacy across business functions in Data Analytics projects
  • Evaluate AI platforms and tools assessing commercial viability and alignment to business need
  • Support the development of business cases for AI investment and ensure AI solutions are implemented with appropriate data governance, explainability, and ethical considerations
  • Contribute innovation thinking to the technology roadmap as a valued input — balanced against delivery capacity and organizational readines

Technology Solution Design & Review

  • Review and challenge technical designs and solutions proposed by vendors and internal teams
  • Evaluate solution feasibility, scalability, and total cost of ownership (TCO) during vendor assessments
  • Liaise with the architecture and security functions to validate solutions and designs to ensure all solutions comply with enterprise cybersecurity policies, data governance standards, and IT architecture principles
  • Work across platform/ product teams in defining solutions, integration between modules and interfaces with other systems, and coordinate development efforts across multiple systems.
  •  Address and resolve technology software issues with hands-on troubleshooting software application issues working with both internal teams and external partners, or with infrastructure team to work on infra-related issues impacting applications.
  • Undertake root cause analysis for problems to implement preventive and corrective measures to meet business and performance needs
