The Opportunity

This role will spearhead the Marketing function for two premium brands at Cycle & Carriage, with a focus on both B2B and B2C markets. Working closely with Sales Management and the Brand Principal, you will implement comprehensive marketing strategies for retailing the Brand’s passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Key areas of focus will include advertising and promotion, customer and direct marketing, as well as internal and external communications.

Other key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate strong marketing acumen and judgment, effectively liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure that both quality and budget are aligned with the planned objectives.
  • Plan and manage the yearly marketing calendar.
  • Oversee and coordinate events at the showrooms, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
  • Analyze key performance indicators for marketing events and operations, offering recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Track media performance and compile relevant reports on market and industry trends.
  • Foster and maintain a close working relationship with the Principal.
  • Support and execute the marketing strategy, including promotional campaigns, events, and traditional and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales department to meet company objectives.
  • Provide leadership and training to equip second-line managers with the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively, ensuring high-level workforce management through motivation, training, and development.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Studies / Marketing / Mass Communications or equivalent with minimum 8 years of consumer and retail marketing experienc
  • Proven work experience in executing integrated marketing campaigns preferred
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale projects from brief through to delivery
  • Strong vendor and partner management skills who excels in stakeholder engagement and management
  • Dependable with strong implementation abilities
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and understands the importance of collaborating with others to achieve impact and results
