The Opportunity

As a Parts Officer with our Customer Service Centre, you will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth and orderly operations in the parts store.             

• Issue parts & workshop special tools to workshop.

• Provide quotation & check stock availability to workshop in timely manner.

• Parts sourcing from other centres or parts stockist when needed.

• Strong follow-up when the parts is from other centres or parts stockist.

• Check, receive and inspect items and quantities delivered in a timely manner.

• Verify parts against invoices, purchase orders or requisitions to ensure accuracy will be part of your accountability

• Issue and keep proper records of the required purchase orders, invoices and inventory reports.

• Ensure parts return from workshop is intact with filled-up return slip and is approve by authorised personnel.

• Inform Parts Manager whenever fast-moving item is running low or sudden increase demand for new parts

• Maintain daily housekeeping to ensure Parts Store cleanliness and tidiness.

• Always adhere to safety and security procedures in handling parts.

• Ad-hoc task if need to support supervisors & operation.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Nitec / Higher Nitec with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in logistics management or equivalent

• Automotive related background will be advantageous

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and meticulous in numbers

• Basic command of English (both verbal and written)

• A strong team player with good interpersonal and communications skills

• Able to work independently
