Job Description

You will be a member of Cycle & Carriage Singapore (CCS) reporting to the General Manager of Customer Engagement & Communications. Your accountabilities cover the marques we represent in Singapore, namely, Mercedes-Benz, KIA, Citroen, Mitsubishi, Maxus, ORA, smart, Gogoro, Peugeot, Leap Motor, and other affiliated businesses including Republic Auto and Cycle & Carriage Leasing.


The Opportunity

You will lead a lean team in spearheading brand and strategic communication efforts in a bid to strengthen the Cycle & Carriage brand and support various online and social media channels.  You will also support corporate communications including public relations and media cultivation. The goal is to achieve a unified omni-channel experience that enhances dealer brand equity across all owned, paid and earned media, across all touchpoints, both online and offline. You will also be involved in agency relationship management, helming group-level interactions with both the creative and media agency, as well as participating in data protection activities and other strategic projects.

Your core responsibilities will include the following:


Cycle & Carriage Brand Management

  • Work with agency to develop/refresh CCS branding assets
  • Work with the marketing teams to reinforce the brand promise at each customer touchpoint
  • Work with external research company to measure the ongoing equity of the brand (both dealer brand and car brands) and taking actions to enhance customer experience
  • Champion/drive initiatives that support delivery of the brand promise
  • Manage and maintain the brand architecture and corporate identity to ensure consistency

Communication Channels Management

  • Oversee digital channels such as country websites and social media pages
  • Work with external agency to plan and curate content to meet social media objectives
  • Design customer journey and experience when they engage in private messaging or commenting on our social media pages
  • Provide inputs and recommendations to enhance channel selection, architecture, functionality or content
  • Work with regional and marketing teams to ensure successful delivery and update of functionalities or content
  • Work with IT and Finance on business continuity plans


Marketing Management

  • Agency relationship management, e.g. Creative & Media agency evaluations and retainer negotiations; master media contracts negotiation; coordinate annual strategic marketing reviews; coordinate and ensure delivery of value-added services, etc.
  • Manage marketing performance dashboard and help to enhance marketing teams’ efficacy in campaign effectiveness and reporting
  • Oversee corporate email and SMS channels including DNC screening


Corporate Communications Support

  • Maintain media list; assist in crafting of media releases; distribution; tracking; and handling media queries
  • Media cultivation including story pitching
  • Drafting of MD speeches
  • Crisis communication support including reputational risks management and business contingency planning


PDPA Support

  • Support DPO in personal data protection programmes and processes, including the management of the PDPA Workplace Workgroup, online training materials, as well as the conductance of the annual PDPA meeting and Data Inventory Maps review process
  • Support DPO in providing regional PDP consultation and sharing best practices with regional countries
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven work experience in branding and marketing
  • Proven work experience in media-buy preferred
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale projects from brief through to delivery a plus
  • Excel in senior stakeholder engagement and management
  • Excel in project coordination and display proactive leadership in ensuring project success
  • Strong vendor and partner management skills
  • Creative and able to think out-of-the box
  • A structured and organised individual with an eye for details
  • Able to multi-task, prioritise and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proactive individual who can work independently with little supervision
  • A good sense of urgency and the ability to manage timelines and deliver work on target
