About the Programme

As the automotive industry accelerates towards electrification, Cycle & Carriage Singapore is launching the KIA EV Bootcamp. This is a structured early-career programme designed to develop future-ready EV specialists in Singapore.

 

This programme combines professional training, hands-on experience and a clear career pathway, offering you the opportunity to build specialised EV skills and grow with a trusted automotive powerhouse.

 

Programme Commencement: March 2026
Programme Type: Paid EV Bootcamp → Paid Internship → Full-Time Career Opportunity

 

Programme Structure & Career Pathway

Phase 1: KIA EV Bootcamp (2 months)

  • Structured classroom learning and hands-on practical training
  • Exposure to KIA EV systems
  • EV Level 1 Certification upon successful completion of assessment

 

Phase 2: Full-Time Internship (10 Months) **

  • On-the-job training under experienced EV specialists
  • Real-world exposure to KIA EV servicing and diagnostics
  • Opportunity for conversion to permanent employment, subject to performance

** Note: As the EV Bootcamp is fully sponsored, the internship phase will be subject to a training bond. Terms and conditions apply.

Job Requirements

Is this you?

 

If you’re at the start of your career and excited about technology, hands-on learning and the future of electric vehicles, we’d love to hear from you. No prior EV experience is required - training will be provided. All we ask is the right attitude and willingness to learn.

 

If you are an individual who is:

  • Singaporean only
  • A current ITE / Polytechnic Engineering student open to internship opportunities (Mar–Apr intake) OR
  • An ITE, Polytechnic or TED graduate (Engineering-related disciplines), with up to 1 year of working experience
  • Motivated to pursue a long-term technical career in the automotive / EV industry
  • Like figuring out what’s wrong and fixing it
  • Enjoy hands-on work with tools, machines and real equipment
  • Care about doing things properly, safely and accurately
  • Work well with others and learn better as a team
  • Don’t give up easily and are willing to learn through challenges
