The Opportunity

Exciting times ahead! You will have the first-hand experience of working with a taskforce in the digital transformation of employee experience apps. In addition, you will support people operations team in handling the end-to-end processes of the employee lifecycle. This can range from hiring support and onboarding to work pass administration and offboarding. You take pride in operational excellence and compliance while enhancing the employee experience.

This is a short-term contract position to support the transition of employee experience apps and people operations. Conversion to permanent position is possible, supported by culture fit of incumbent to the role and team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Taskforce Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and assist with the planning and migration of relevant apps according to roadmap.
  • HR Process Support & Documentation: Support stakeholders in the migration efforts, including drafting and updating documentation of processes.
  • Data Management: Assist with data migration and ensuring data integrity.
  • User support and communication: Provide user training and support on apps usage and functionalities; create and distribute communication aids to support the change effort.
  • Work Pass Administration: Track, apply, renew, and cancel work passes accurately and timely. Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with regulations.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding Support: Support recruitment sourcing efforts by identifying potential candidates and assisting recruiters with interview coordination and talent pipeline management. Assist to administer ability tests, preparing employment contracts, and handling contract renewals. Manage onboarding formalities for new hires.
  • Employee Lifecycle Administration: Create & maintain new hire records in the system, generate certification letters, and manage offboarding processes - be the main point of contact with Benefits and Payroll team to complete all leavers’ obligations timely.
  • Finance & Payments: Coordinate payments for casual staff and MOM GIRO bills across multiple entities.
  • HR Projects & Compliance: Participate in HR initiatives and ensure operational compliance across all People processes.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Business with specialization in HR is highly advantageous. This role is open for early careers and is a very hands-on role.
  • Proven experience in managing high-volume HR operations or People processes (> 1,000 headcount), with hands-on expertise in HCMS. Workday experience preferred but not required
  • Is comfortable communicating with employees via enterprise chat portals; land-line or on mobile devices. Digitally adept (most HR transactions are done on portals).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a self-driven mindset with initiative, respect timelines and meticulous to follow through processes
  • Ability to operate with discipline, rigour and compliance. Able to interact with highly confidential data with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Has high sense of ownership and thrive in a team-based environment. Willing and able to work as a team for organizational wide efforts or business exigencies.
  • This is an on-site position, necessary to support on-site operations.
